Hopewell Sioux Platform Pipes; Artistic Integrity for 2,500 Years.

Hopewell Sioux Platform Pipes; Artistic Integrity for 2,500 Years.

For a map that shows the Dakota Sioux once inhabited the Ohio Valley and are what we know as the Hopewell mound builders. See this map www.nephilimgiants.net : Osage Hopewell Mound Builders of Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and Missouri

This Hopewell era platform pipe was discovered in Adams County, Illinois, in 1928. It is made of catlinite from Minnesota.

Pipestone pipes continue to be made by the Sioux Indians today, little changed from 2,000
 years ago.
