9 Foot Human Giant Removed From Burial Mound
In 1876 there was exhumed another of these giants in the Conewango Valley at Cowen's Corners about 5 miles from East Randolph, N. Y.  This Giant Indian stood 9 feet in height, had a shin bone 28 inches in length, a foot 14 inches long, and measured 35 inches across his shoulders.  These measurements are on record at Buffalo and Washington D. C.  This man was buried in a mound as was the one at Oswago which indicates they may have been related to the mound builders.
