The  Adena Hopewell Mariemont Earthwork in Cincinnati, Ohio

The Adena Hopewell Mariemont Earthwork is an ancient earthwork located in Mariemont, Ohio, a suburb of Cincinnati. The earthen wall follows the bluff overlooking the Miami River. One archaeologists claimed that this was part of a larger Serpent mound. I also had found a historical report of a hill near this that was terraced. We did find evidence of this, but it was impossible to photograph.
