One of Ohio's largest burial mounds is "Address Restricted" in Pickaway County, Ohio. It is very visible from the road if you know where to look. A good-sized Adena-Hopewell burial mound is located a few miles from Circleville, Ohio in Pickaway County, Ohio. There are many visible burial mounds that are visible in this part of the State. These have been designated as "Address Restricted" by the Ohio Historical Society. Get the directions!

 If You are going to visit the Tarleton Cross, did you know that in route to this ancient site are some of Ohio's largest burial mounds.  Most would not know of their location because they are "Address Restricted" 

This burial mound can actually be seen from miles away if you know where to look.
