A heathen buryng ground, with giant skeletons, was recently dug up at Mittenendorf, in the Austrian Salzkammergut. Many of the bodies were 6 feet 7 •inches tall; they were all buried with the feet to the east, each buried in a circle of stones, with a stone under the head. Large earrings and finger rings were found on them, and one skeleton.had a knife in its hand.
