This large burial mound with surrounding undulating earthwork and interior ditch is located in Fredericktown, Ohio in Knox County. A gateway faces the east that is aligned to the Equinox sunrise. This mound is on private property and not visible from the road. I did photograph 32 of the largest mounds in Ohio with 25 being designated as "Address Restricted." Sites.
