Hopewell Burial Mound at Chain of Lakes Park in Noble County, Indiana. Partially Destroyed by Indiana University Archaeologists

A hiking trail passes right in front of this burial mound at Chain of Lakes Park.   It is so overgrown in the summer; most would walk right by it. See it in the winter. There are 85 mound and earthworks in Indiana with only three preserved by the Indiana Historical Society.
