Indian Mound Reserve includes both the Williamson Mound and the Pollock Earthwork.  It affords one one the scenic hikes in Ohio, that includes a waterfall. From the parking lot at the Indian Mound Reserve this beautiful waterfall can be viewed.

Another view of the waterfall.  A trail leads down to Massies Creek that can be taken from a distance toward the large Adena burial mound.

Following the lower river trail towards the Adena Mound.

The Williamson mound is one of the larger Adena burial mounds in Ohio. It is is heavily overgrown in the summer months, so best seen in the winter. Take a visual tour of all of Ohio's largest burial mounds here. 

On the other side of the park is the Pollock Ceremonial earthwork,  The front gate is all that remains of this work.

 The university of Cincinnati removed parts of the front gates of the earthwork that had these stones at the base.
