Largest Adena Stone Mound Remains Neglected in Butler County, Ohio

The archaeologist has trenched the stone mound at Jacksonburg, in Butler County, Ohio. It is the largest extant stone mound in the Ohio Valley. Years of foliage from the trees growing on the mound have left covering dirt that covers the original stones. Despite the destruction and the ravages of time, it is still an impressive monument.
