Oto Sioux Hopewell Mound in New Harmony, Indiana (Posey County)

Several burial mounds were photographed within the city of New Harmony, Indiana in Posey County, Oto Sioux have been identified as the builders of the mounds and earthworks in the county. They,and other Dakota Sioux tribes were the Hopewell mound builder.  This site also included some small burial mounds in a "pod."
