Identical Sun Temples in Chillicothe, Ohio and Delaware County, Indiana

A former landowner ran tile to the earthwork site that now periodically floods the inner ditch of the henge. Emerging from the interior platform is the semi-circular earthwork that can be seen in this photo.  Giant skeletons have beeen discovered near both of these henges. An identical henge is located in Ross County, Ohio near Chillicothe. Like the henge in Delaware County, there is an additional earthwork on the exterior of the circular platform.
