Blackwater Earthwork Henge Group in Chillicothe, Ohio in Ross County

Ther Blackwater Henge Group is typical of the Henge groups in Ohio and Indian built by the Adena (Amorite) mound builders.

To the north of the previous group, Squire and Davis diagrammed two additional works, one of which is revealed in this photo as a large 210 foot diameter henge.  One of the largest Adena mounds in Ohio is located north of Chillicothe www.nephilimgiants.net : One of Ohio's Largest Burial Mounds Near Mound City in Ross County is Hidden. "Address Restricted" by the Ohio Historical Society.

Another look at the one henge that is best preserved. This site was bought by a conservatory and is now being preserved. I am not sure if you are able to access the property. It is located close to the Junction Henge Group that is accessible.
