Ancient Adena (Celtic) Sun Temple Discovered in Chillicothe, Ohio

Ancient Adena (Celtic) Sun Temple Discovered in Chillicothe, Ohio

Adena mound builders sun temple is clearly visible on this aerial photo located outside of Chillicothe, Ohio    Many other earthworks were in Chillicothe, Ohio This is one of them  www.nephilimgiants.net : Hopeton Sacred Via was for the Procession of the Dead to Mound City

The Ohio Historical Society and archaeologists have destroyed much of the Capital City of the Adena (Beaker People) and Hopewell (Sioux, Cherokee and Iroquois), but despite not being preserved, some of the most important sites can still be viewed.  Two large henges  were constructed on the confluence of Paint Creek and the North Fork of Paint Creek.  The two large henges are identical in size to the henges at Athens County, Ohio, Mounds State Park and Cambridge City, Indiana, which measured 660 feet in circumference.
Henges, are circular earthworks with an outer wall and interior ditch and a gateway that is aligned to a solar event. Henges were adopted by the Beaker People, who also constructed Stonehenge.
The archaeologist has called the Chillicothe burial mounds and earthwork Hopewell, but with this new find it shows that the capital city had a combination of both Adena and Hopewell elements and that it are the result of these two peoples merging into one society that is called the Adena-Hopewell.

Map of the Earthworks around Chillicothe, Ohio is originally drawn by Squire and Davis in Ancient Monuments of the Mississippi Valley 1846.  No description of the North Fork henge was given by Squire and Davis, nor has it shown up in any archaeological reports.

This photograph from Google Earth clearly shows that the outer embankment of both earthworks is still visible in this plowed field. Why is this not being saved from the obliteration of the plow?

Hopewell Mound Builder's Use of the Length of 250 Feet to Symbolize the Sun and the Serpent.

Hopewell Mound Builder's Use of the Length of 250 Feet to Symbolize the Sun and the Serpent

In the Middle Woodland Period when the Beaker People had merged with the Hopewell Sioux, there was a change in the size of the Sun Temples or Henges from 660 feet in circumference or 210 feet in diameter to 250 feet in diameter.

Two henges located in Chillicothe, Ohio that were aligned to the Equinox sunrise and sunset. They are both 250 feet in diameter.

A group of four henges also located in Chillicothe, Ohio that were also 250 feet in circumference. Three of the henges are aligned to the Equinox sunrise with another aligned to the south.

The Dunlap Works in Chillicothe, Ohio also had a circle that was 250 feet in circumference.

To the northwest of Mound City in Chillicothe, Ohio was another Sun Temple (henge) that was aligned to the Equinox sunrise and 250 feet in circumference.

At the New Castle, Indiana henge site was another Sun Temple with an alignment to the equinox sunrise and a diameter of 250 feet.
This serpentine work that was located at the bottom of Spruce Hill was also constructed of stone. The length of 250 feet has a symbolic parallel with the serpent. We could deduce that the Serpent and the sun were both represented by the length of 250 feet.

Chillicothe, Ohio's Ancient Nephilim Queen is Buried with Child and Attendants.

Chillicothe, Ohio's Ancient Nephilim Queen is Buried with Child and Attendants

This female and child are from an excavation of a Vedbaek, Denmark glacial kame. You can see that the skull has the same protruding brow ridge as the Adena mound builders in the Ohio Valley. The Vedbaek skull was said to have Cro-Magnon traits reluctantly by the Denmark archaeologists.  See where all the giants were found in Ohio in each county with this map. www.nephilimgiants.net : Map of Nephilim Giants Discovered in Ohio: 125 Historical Accounts

Prehistoric America, 1911
Under a mound at Chillicothe, the skeleton was discovered of a very tall woman who died young; her teeth were all intact, and at her feet lay the bones of a child. Beneath these human remains was greasy black earth, in which the microscope has revealed remains of animal matter and heaps of cinders. Further excavations brought to light a great many other bones. It is uncertain whether they were those of unfortunates offered up in sanguinary rites, or merely of those whose remains had been subjected to cremation as a mark of respect. All the bodies lay on the left side, and by each one was placed a vessel full of food, which would hardly have been provided for victims. These are very characteristic funeral rites.  More giants in Ross County, www.nephilimgiants.net : The Bainbridge, Ohio Mound in Ross County, Ohio

Nephilim Geometry and the Rhomboid Earthwork in Chillicothe, Ohio

Nephilim Geometry and the Rhomboid Earthwork in Chillicothe, Ohio

Dunlop Works in Chilicothe, Ohio

"Dunlaps Earthworks is located North of Chillicothe Ohio on the Scioto River. It consists of a circle, rhomboid and extending parallel embankments." Shaun Chaney of the Ohio Historical Connection

"Located 6 miles north of Chillicothe. Consisted of a 13-acre square connected to a circle, a small rectangle, an avenue of 2 parallel embankments (1,130 ft. long), and 8 mounds. Nothing seems to exist." See a map of Chillicothe, Ohio showing all of the earthworks!  www.nephilimgiants.net : Map of the Adena Hopewell Ancient Geometric Earthworks in Ross County, Ohio

A Rhomboid is a complex geometrical figure. As we have seen at the Newark Earthworks, where trigonometry, pi, squaring a circle, and finding the circumference of was utilized, it is very difficult to ascribe these to Native Americans, with the exception that the Dakota Sioux who are known as the Hopewell mound builders would have been with their Amorite allies in the building of this structure. We do know the Amorites, who were the accounted giants in the Bible, had this knowledge.
A rhomboid is a quadrilateral in which the opposite sides are parallel, and the opposite angles are equal. It is similar to a parallelogram because its opposite sides are parallel, and it can become a rhombus if all its sides are equal. Observe the following rhomboid with altitude (height) 'h' and base 'b' and side 'a'.
Here is a list of the properties of a rhomboid:
  • In a rhomboid, the opposite sides are parallel and equal.
  • The diagonal divides the rhomboid into two congruent triangles.
  • The opposite angles of a rhomboid are congruent.
  • The sum of interior angles of a rhomboid is equal to 360°.

Now, let us relate these properties to the following figure.

  • Side AD is parallel to BC and AB is parallel to CD. Side AD = BC and AB = CD.
  • Diagonal AC divides the rhomboid into two congruent triangles ABC and ADC. Diagonal BD divides the rhomboid into two congruent triangles ABD and BCD
  • The opposite angles are: ∠ADC = ∠ABC and ∠DAB = ∠DCB
  • The sum of the angles: ∠A + ∠B + ∠C + ∠D = 360°
  •    Native Americans making congruent triangles? They just weren't utilizing this level of mathematics.  The giant Nephilim Amorites did have this knowledge.

Blackwater Earthwork Henge Group in Chillicothe, Ohio in Ross County

Blackwater Earthwork Henge Group in Chillicothe, Ohio in Ross County

Ther Blackwater Henge Group is typical of the Henge groups in Ohio and Indian built by the Adena (Amorite) mound builders.

To the north of the previous group, Squire and Davis diagrammed two additional works, one of which is revealed in this photo as a large 210 foot diameter henge.  One of the largest Adena mounds in Ohio is located north of Chillicothe www.nephilimgiants.net : One of Ohio's Largest Burial Mounds Near Mound City in Ross County is Hidden. "Address Restricted" by the Ohio Historical Society.

Another look at the one henge that is best preserved. This site was bought by a conservatory and is now being preserved. I am not sure if you are able to access the property. It is located close to the Junction Henge Group that is accessible.

The Adena Mound in Chillicothe the Namesake of the Adena Mound Builders

The Adena Mound in Chillicothe the Namesake of the Adena Mound Builders

The Adena mound was located on the Adena Estate owned by Thomas Worthington in Chillicothe, Ohio.  The burial mound was destroyed by the Ohio Historical Society. The mound was encircle by a moat and ditch much like the one that surrounded the largest moound in the  Ohio Valley at Grave Creek, West Virginia.

Burial mounds (barrows) surrounded by a ditch were common in the British Isles. This, and henges in England and the Ohio Valley were also identical that would lead anyone but an archaeologist that these works were built by the same people.

Sacred Via Discovered at the Hopewell Sioux Liberty Earthwork in Chillicothe, Ohio

Sacred Via Discovered at the Hopewell Sioux Liberty Earthwork in Chillicothe, Ohio

This is the original map done by Squire and Davis who printed the earthworks backwards. The square was on the south side of the road.

In this aerial photo you can clearly see the square earthwork is on the south of the road and the small circle was to the north of the road.

Two parallel lines can be seen that go from the square earthwork to the creek to the north.

Three Giant Nephilim Skeletons Unearthed in Chillicothe, Ohio

One of the largest burial mounds in Ohio was once located in Chillicothe.  For more documents of Ohio's giants.  Another giant skeleton was found south of here in Chillicothe, Ohio www.nephilimgiants.net : Giant Human Skeleton Uncovered in a Burial Mound South of Chillicothe, Ohio

Daily Newburgh Journal, October 26, 1898,

There have been unearthed at Chillicothe, Ohio, three monster skeletons. They were found

in the neighborhood of what was at one time one of the most important earthworks of the

mound builders. The skeletons, which were those of men over seven feet in height, were

found in various postures and it is supposed they fell either defending or attacking the

earthworks and were buried with military honors."

Giant Human Skeleton Uncovered in a Burial Mound South of Chillicothe, Ohio

Giant Human Skeleton Uncovered in a Burial Mound South of Chillicothe, Ohio

Ohio Archæological and Historical Quarterly, 1899

Two mounds upon the farm of Mr. M. V. Briggs, four miles north of Chillicothe in the southeast corner of Union township were explored. They are ranged north and south, about one hundred feet apart, upon the second terrace of the Scioto.  Two feet from the south edge of the mound we found a skeleton headed west and fairly well preserved.“Near these was a third body headed east. These three were in a row although they headed differently. Five feet deep, in the central part of the structure we found a fourth skeleton. The bones were the largest I ever removed from a mound. All joints were exceedingly massive and the muscular attachments were wonderfully developed. Badly decayed as it was, the longer bones were sound enough for me to make these observations.

Hopeton Sacred Via was for the Procession of the Dead to Mound City

Hopeton Sacred Via was for the Procession of the Dead to Mound City

The American Antiquarian and Oriental Journal, 1892

The covered way at Hopeton leads towards Mound City in Chillicothe, Ohio. May it is not that this was the way through which processions passed on the occasions when the annual burial feast or "great burning" took place?  The passage across the river by a ferry to the place of burning would resemble the Egyptian custom and would fulfill; the picture which Virgil has drawn of Charon crossing the river Styx with the souls of the dead. An old photo of Mound City shows how reduced the surrounding embankment is today. www.nephilimgiants.net : Early Picture of the Hopewell Necropolis at Mound City in Chillicothe, Ohio

Were the dead ferried across the Scioto from Hopeton to Mound City when the sun aligned with the sacred via at the sunset of the Winter solstice.
