Are Archaeologist Now Agreeing that the Ancient Adena Mound Builders of the Ohio Valley were Using a Base 60 Babylonian Numbering System

The earthworks' solstice alignments at Winchester, Indiana, align to make two Pythagorean triangles. Woke archaeologists claim that Native Americans knew these mathematical and geometric principles. I believe the "Hopewell" mound builders were of Dakota Sioux origin. The earlier "Adena" were the Babylonian Amorites. Indian legends say that a white race once inhabited the Ohio Valley and "were skilled in the arts."  The Amorites were called "giants" in the Bible. Plenty of recorded giants are found in Adena mounds. The Amorites are proposed to have built Stonehenge and the conical burial mounds surrounded by a ditch in England. There are Adena mounds in the Ohio Valley surrounded by a ditch. Henges are found throughout the Ohio Valley. Two of the henges in the Ohio Valley are aligned to the May 1 sunrise. Beltane May 1 has its origins with the Canaanite/Amorites!  

Delsy Wilson who is one of the docents at the Serpent Mound made an interesting statement. "Isn’t there a proposed Hopewell base measurement also based on 60?" Yes, it is me who advocates that Babylonia Amorites were in the Ohio Valley." We have two confirmed earthwork sites that used the Pythagorean theorem. The two most frequent measures of sun temples (henges) are 660 and 666 feet with one 555 feet in circumfernce. Many of the square earthworks were 1080 feet per side. Both of these number are Babylonian Gematria numbers. They are also both divisible by 60. We also know that earthworks were constructed by a people that understood trigonometry, pi and sqauring circles. The Babylonian Amorotes (the accounted giants in the Bible) were in the Ohio Valley.

An Australian mathematician cracked the code of a famous 3,700 year old Babylonian clay tablet revealing that they were doing more accurate trigonometry nearly 1,500 years before the Greeks.

In 2017, Australian mathematician Dr. Daniel Mansfield from the University of New South Wales decoded a 3,700-year-old Babylonian clay tablet known as Plimpton 322. The tablet, which was originally discovered in the early 20th century in southern Iraq, contains a series of numbers arranged in four columns and 15 rows. For a long time, the purpose of these numbers remained a mystery.

Dr. Mansfield and his team discovered that Plimpton 322 is a trigonometric table. Unlike Greek trigonometry, which is based on angles and circles, Babylonian trigonometry used ratios of sides of right-angled triangles and a base 60 (sexagesimal) number system. This system, the researchers found, enabled the Babylonians to create a trigonometric table that is more accurate than the Greek method, as it avoids irrational numbers and provides exact ratios.

Key points about this discovery include:

1. Plimpton 322 predates Greek mathematicians such as Hipparchus, who is often credited with founding trigonometry, by more than a millennium.

2. The Babylonians' use of a base 60 number system allowed them to make complex calculations with great precision. Their method is particularly advantageous for some practical applications, such as surveying and architecture.

3. The tablet shows that the Babylonians had a sophisticated understanding of right-angled triangles and could solve problems related to their sides with exceptional accuracy.

4. This finding suggests that the history of mathematics is richer and more complex than previously thought, with advanced mathematical practices emerging in different cultures independently.

The discovery of the true purpose of Plimpton 322 has reshaped our understanding of ancient mathematical knowledge and highlights the advanced capabilities of Babylonian scholars long before similar concepts were documented in Greek mathematics.

      The physical type of the builders of these stone circles and megaliths is obviously that represented by the skeletons of the tall Nordic type (with some others of the smaller river-bed and mixed Iberian or Pictish type) the long barrow mounds, chambered Cairns and stone cist of the Late Stone Ages in the neighborhood of these circles. And it was presumably early pioneer stragglers of this same Nordic stock at the end of the Old Stone age who are represented by the “Red Man” of Paviland cave, in the Gower peninsula of Wales, of the mammoth age, and the “Keiss chief” in the stone cist. Both of these interred with rude stone weapons, and are interred with rude stone weapons, and are of the superior and artistic Cro-Magnon type of early men, which seems to have been the proto-Nordic or proto-Aryan. These early Nordic people, who buried near the Circles, were generally found in their tombs laid on their right side, and their faces usually facing eastward to the rising Sun, thus evidencing their solar religion and belief in the resurrection.

      The megalithic builders developed into the Egyptians, Amorites, and Hebrews, for they were adopted by them as the “pillars” which are often denounced in the Old Testament, and in Egypt were gradually shaped and prolonged into the obelisk.

   The ancient miners have left numerous traces of their work in the region of Lake Superior. At one place a piece of pure copper weighing over five tons was found fifteen feet below the surface, under trees at least four hundred years old. It had been raised on skids, bore marks of fire, and some stone implements were scattered about. There is no evidence that the tribes found in possession of the country by the first French missionaries ever worked these mines, or had any tradition of a people that had worked them, although both they and their ancestors had copper knives hammered from lumps of the metal, which are very commonly found on the surface. All the traditions and Indian stories of 'mines' may most consistently be referred to these natural superficial deposits. The ancient mines were for the most part in the same localities where the best modern mines are worked. Most of them have left as traces only slight depressions in the surface, the finding of which is regarded by prospectors as a tolerably sure indication of a rich vein of copper. The cut represents a section of one of the veins of copper-bearing rock worked by the ancient miners. The mass of copper at a weighed about six tons. At the top a portion of the stone had been left across the vein as support. Copper implements, including wedges used in mining as 'gads,' are found in and about the old mines; with hammers of stone, mostly grooved for withe handles. Some weigh from thirty to forty pounds and have two 784grooves; others again are not grooved at all. In one case remains of a handle of twisted cedar-roots were found, and much-worn wooden shovels often occur. There are no enclosures, mounds, or other traces of a permanent settlement of the Mound-builders in the mining region. It is probable that the miners came each summer from the south; in fact, it would have been impossible to work the mines in winter by their methods.

     Regarding the tradition that “giants” occupied Britain before Brutus, and that “giants” were the builders of the stone circles and megaliths and “giants” tombs in Brittany, Mauretania, Sardinia and in other places colonized by the Phoenicians, it is significant that the Mor, Muru, Marutu or “Amorits of Syria-Phoenicia-Palestine are called “giants” by the Hebrews in their Old Testament. They are, moreover, called there “the sons of Anak” (Beni-anak) Now “Anak” in Akkadian is a name for “Tin” And Tarnish, which, as Tarz or Tarsus, we have seen was a chief port of the Amorite Phoenicians, and which we know was actually visited and conquered by Sargon I., is thus celebrated in the Old Testament in connection with Tyre of the Phoenicians: “Tarnish was thy merchant by re4ason of the multitude of all kinds of riches; with silver, iron Tin, and lead, they traded their fairs” Ezek 27:12
    Between the Persian Gulf and the Red Sea, in the district of Kasin, are reported three huge rude stone circles, which are described as being “like Stonehenge” and, like it, composed of gigantic trilithons about 15 ft. high; and several huge Stone Circles in the neighborhood of Mt. Sinai, some of them measuring 100 ft. in diameter.

And amongst the many megaliths along the Mediterranean coast of Africa, so frequently by the Phoenicians are several Stone Circles in Tripoli and Gaet-uli hill with trilithon, like Stonehenge.

    According to the World Weekly News the skull of Goliath was found west of Jerusalem. The skull was found by Dr. Richard Martin in the foothills of the Judaean Mountains last spring.   The skull was found by Dr. Martin during a routing archaeological survey of Elah, where David was reported to have slain Goliath.  Martin believed from the size of the head that it belonged to a person over 10 feet tall.

   It is more likely that this skull represents one of the accounted giants from the tribes mentioned in the Bible.  Jerusalem was once occupied by the Amorites.  The name Jersalem still bearing the Amorite name for a Ugaritic god.  Ur is the Sumrian name for the "Sun." Ur u Salem.  "The Sun God."

The skull has many physical qualities to that of the giant skeleton found at Lovelock cave in Nevada that was reported to be from a tribe of red-haired giants.

     Alligewi, and it would seem that he is right, from the traces of their name which still remain in the the country, the Allegheny river and mountains having indubitably been named after them. The Delawares still call the former Alligewi Sipu, the River of the Alligewi. We have adopted, I know not for what reason, its Iroquois name, Ohio, which the French had literally translated into La Belle Riviere, The Beautiful River. A branch of it, however, still retains the ancient name Allegheny.

   Many wonderful things are told of this famous people. They are said to have been remarkably tall and stout, and there is a tradition that there were giants among them, people of a much larger size than the tallest of the Lenape.

     Is there a connection between the stargazers of the Nephilim, the Bible, and the Earthworks in the Ohio Valley? We may never have a definitive answer to the question but given that a giant race once inhabited the Ohio Valley whose origins point to the Biblical Levant, we can not dismiss the fact that the the mound builder's astrology was nearly identical.

     Though dismissed by the church, astrology has left an indelible imprint on the scriptures of the Bible. Isaiah 14:13 “I will raise my throne above the stars of God, And I will sit on the mount of assembly In the recesses of the north.” This is a reference to the North Star from which all other stars revolve in the night sky. The origin of the word “El” is the Sumerian word “Ool” which means “to turn.” It is the mighty power of God who turns the fabric of the heavens.

      The Bible also teaches that God arranged the stars into recognizable groups that we call constellations. Genesis 1:14 “And God said, "Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years.” Sacred times? Should we all be celebrating these astrological events?

      Early Hebrew mystics organized the constellations into Archangels who were also described as Watchers known as Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, and Auriel. In the Books of Enoch, the Watchers were sent to Earth to teach law and justice to humankind. The Watchers were also interpreted as the Fallen Angels which magicians call forth in ceremonial magic.

     In the Book of Enoch, he is taught by angels the names of the constellations, "I beheld the celestial stars come forth. I numbered them as they proceeded out of the gate, and wrote them all down, as they came out one by one according to their number. I wrote down their names altogether, their times and their seasons, as the angel Uriel, who was with me, pointed them out to me. He showed them all to me and wrote down an account of them. He also wrote down for me their names, their regulations, and their operations."(Enoch 32:2-3).

      The Amorites, (who were the accounted giants in the Bible) from Babylon followed an astronomy cult where there were four “Royal Stars” which were also called the Watchers. Each one of these stars "ruled" over one of the four cardinal points. The star Aldebaran marked the Vernal Equinox, held the position of Watcher of the East. Regulus, marking the Summer Solstice, was Watcher of the South. Antares, marking the Autumn Equinox, was Watcher of the West. Fomalhaut, marking the Winter Solstice, was Watcher of the North.     Theorizing that the giant race in the Ohio Valley has its origins with the Amorites or Nephilim from the Levant, can we draw astrological parallels with the alignments of the earthworks in the Ohio Valley? Were these alignments part of the ceremonial magic performed by the mound builders' magicians?
